Embarrass Historical Society Gets $12K Grant

The Embarrass Region Historical Society received a $12,000 grant from Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation to upgrade its facility.

The money will support building improvements that preserve artifacts and enhance access to exhibits documenting the region's history. The society opens seasonally to the public during summer months.

Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation announced the award June 13, 2024. The agency funds economic development, infrastructure, and cultural preservation projects across northeastern Minnesota's Iron Range communities.
