Roblox Predatory Tactics: Beaumont Parents Warning

Dr. Stacy Vaughan, Vice President of Growth and Prevention for Childhelp, outlined how predators exploit children on the gaming platform Roblox in a recent article published by Drugwatch.

Predators use in-game gifts and currency called Robux to build trust with children, then move conversations to private messaging apps outside Roblox's monitoring systems, Vaughan explained.

Childhelp, which works to prevent child sexual abuse, encourages parents to recognize warning signs and maintain open conversations with their children about online safety.
