Additional Unit Dispatched to Vehicle Fire on 5th Avenue South

Saint Petersburg emergency services have dispatched an additional unit to the scene of a vehicle fire at 940 5 Av S-Sp, bringing the total number of responding units to two, according to emergency dispatch.

The initial call came in early Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 12:48 AM. Following the initial dispatch of E5, a second unit, PD7, has now also been dispatched to the incident.

Motorists are still advised to avoid the area near 940 5 Av S-Sp and should anticipate potential road closures as crews work on scene.
