All Board Supervisors of The Villages Public Safety Department Dependent District have been elected by “qualified electors” (registered voters) residing in the District. They are elected on a non-partisan basis on the general election ballot. In the event that an elected member is unable to serve the remainder of their term, the Board of County Commissioners will appoint a replacement to serve the remaining term. If there is a vacancy, applicants may apply here. Applications will only be considered if there is an active vacancy.
