FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Marlene Robertson (941) 742-5834 [email protected] Clerk’s Office to Host Third Annual Fostering Hope Event Manatee County, FL – May 1, 2024 – The Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office is hosting its third annual Fostering Hope event on Friday, May 10th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Manatee County Judicial Center, located at 1051 Manatee Avenue West in downtown Bradenton. This event aims to raise awareness of the great need for foster parents and to support the Guardian ad Litem program. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about becoming a foster parent and how to support children in need. There will be representatives from local foster care agencies, the Guardian ad Litem program, and other organizations that support foster families. “We are excited to host our third annual Fostering Hope event and to continue our support of foster children in Manatee County,” said Clerk of Court Angel Colonneso. “There is a tremendous need for more foster parents in our community, and we hope that this event inspires more people to open their hearts and homes to children in need.” The Fostering Hope event is free and open to the public. There will be food, music, and activities for children. We encourage everyone to attend and learn more about how they can make a difference in the lives of foster children in our community.
