Due to staffing shortages, the Clerk and Recorder’s Office will be temporarily closing the Arvada and Littleton Motor Vehicle locations. The Arvada Motor Vehicle location will be closed Monday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Oct. 6, reopening on Monday, Oct. 9. The Littleton Motor Vehicle location will be closed Monday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 20, reopening on Monday, Oct. 23. During the temporary closures, customers are encouraged to visit the main Motor Vehicle office at the Jeffco Government Center, 100 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden. Wait times are typically shorter in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Customers can also visit the Motor Vehicle office in Southwest Plaza, 8501 W. Bowles Avenue in Littleton. Please note that the Southwest Plaza office is closed daily from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Many services are also available online at https://dmv.colorado.gov/.
