Residents in the Northern Denali Borough, particularly around Windy Pass, should prepare for strong winds. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fairbanks has issued a Wind Advisory effective from 4 PM Friday, October 7th, until 1 AM AKDT Sunday, October 9th.

Southeast winds are expected to reach 20 to 30 mph, with gusts potentially as high as 65 mph. These conditions could lead to unsecured outdoor objects being blown around, downed tree limbs, and isolated power outages.
