Nation Observes Patriot Day

The United States will commemorate Patriot Day on September 11, honoring the nearly 3,000 people who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The annual observance also recognizes the contributions of first responders and members of the armed forces who served following the attacks.
