Mark Boice Named Daytona Beach's Chief Building Official

Daytona Beach appointed Mark Boice as Chief Building Official. Boice, who has served as Deputy Code Official since April 2021, holds state licenses as a Building Code Administrator, Building Inspector, and Plan Examiner.

Boice spent 17 years with Flagler County, where he served as Chief Building Inspector from 2013 to 2021. He now oversees the city's Permits & Licensing department, which has 26 employees and manages a $5.8 million annual budget.
