Increase your impact by donating in cryptocurrency Together, we nourish In Palm Beach County, more than 157,000 people are projected to experience food insecurity. The Palm Beach County Food Bank distributes more than 9.5 million meals to Palm Beach County residents yearly. We partner with nearly 200 county agencies, shelters, schools, food pantries, and soup kitchens through our Partner Marketplace, Pop Up Farmers Market, Childhood Hunger Initiatives, and Benefits Outreach programs. Due to COVID-19 and the current economic conditions of our country, more people are finding it difficult to make ends meet, let alone place food on their tables. The inflation of gas prices, groceries, and housing has caused hardship amongst so many families and individuals leaving them one paycheck away from survival. By donating in cryptocurrency, you are not only helping to provide meals for thousands of Palm Beach County residents but you are taking a stance by investing in our fight to end hunger Together, we provide nourishment to our neighbors in need and turn hunger into hope. Tax benefits Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it from your taxes. This makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax-efficient ways to support the Palm Beach County Food Bank. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency donations as property, meaning they are not subject to capital gains tax and are tax-deductible. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. For example, for donors in the United States, the IRS has classified Bitcoin as property for tax purposes. Refund Policy Please NOTE: Please only send the exact cryptocurrency listed on the blockchain mentioned on the widget. Do not send any other cryptocurrencies (including layer 2, wrapped tokens, NFTs or other ERC-20 tokens not listed) as these are unsupported and may result in loss of donation. The Giving Block: “All cryptocurrency donations made via The Giving Block are nonrefundable. Donations are often immediately converted into fiat; we do not offer refunds on any donations that are made in cryptocurrency. We are not able to provide refunds if you changed your mind, sent the wrong cryptocurrency, or made the wrong decision. When you donate crypto to the Palm Beach County Food Bank, you do not recognize capital gains from the donation and can deduct it from your taxes. This Election Session, The Palm Beach County Library System Makes Voter Registration Convenient & Easy

A visit to the Palm Beach County Library System can include more than picking up your latest read. As an authorized voter registration agency, the Library System provides members with convenient access to voter registration applications at all branch locations. The next time you visit your local branch, stop by the Member Services desk. While you check out your books, Library staff can provide a voter registration application to register to vote or update your existing voter registration information. Once completed, Library staff will make sure your application is delivered to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. At any branch location, you can quickly: Register for the first time. A northbound/eastbound lane of Roebuck Road in the vicinity of Jog Road and Florida’s Turnpike is closed to vehicle traffic as crews work to assess and repair damage to the road. The lane will remain closed until further notice. One northbound/eastbound lane remains open. The public is asked to use caution while proceeding through this area. The Palm Beach County Engineering and Public Works Department (EPW) appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this temporary inconvenience. We are committed to enhancing the safety and efficiency of the County’s infrastructure. Strengthening Our Community Through Hurricane Preparedness

"Robenson Duvelsaint of the Palm Beach Community Services Department’s Community Action Program joined residents, community partners, and emergency preparedness professionals at a hurricane preparedness event hosted by the Palm Beach County Office of Emergency Management at Royal Palm Beach Community High School on September 12, 2026. Focused on hurricane readiness, the event encouraged residents to take proactive steps to protect themselves, their families, and their homes before severe weather strikes. From early morning setup to meaningful conversations throughout the day, participating organizations demonstrated a shared commitment to building a safer, stronger, and more prepared Palm Beach County. The event brought together an impressive network of agencies and community partners, including NOAA, Generator Supercenter, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Legal Aid Society, the Palm Beach County Public Safety Department, Palm Beach County Fire Department, Palm Beach Community Services and Team Rubicon Disaster Response, among others. While attendance was modest, the residents who participated were engaged, informed, and eager to learn. Community members asked important questions, connected with local resources, and gained practical information to help them prepare for hurricane season. The Community Action Program also had the opportunity to connect residents with programs and services offered by Palm Beach County Community Services. Several attendees expressed interest in learning more about available resources and even volunteering with the department, an encouraging sign of growing community involvement. Events like this demonstrate the power of collaboration. By bringing residents together with trusted agencies, service providers, and emergency preparedness partners, Palm Beach County continues to strengthen its network of support and ensure that residents have access to the information and resources they need when it matters most. Cambridge Health Supports Breast Cancer Run

"Take pride in Our Community On Saturday October 5th, Cambridge took part in the Athleader’s Breast Cancer Run/ Walk 5 Miler.  Several supporters showed up to walk Stone Mountain for the 5K. It was a beautiful morning and each person was there for the same purpose, we walked in support of Cancer survivors and End the Fight with Cancer. Together, the walkers and runners took on the mountain. Approximately 80 supporters on each team cheered them on from the sideline.
