Palm Beach County's Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED) announced $4 million in State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds are available for its Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program. Homeowners can receive up to $75,000 for improvements like hurricane-resistant windows and doors, utility connections and accessibility modifications. Properties with unpermitted work may be ineligible. Homeowners must attend a mandatory virtual orientation session before applying. Sessions can be accessed via WebEx or by phone.
