Deerfield Beach Seeks Marine Advisory Board Members

The City of Deerfield Beach invites residents passionate about the marine environment to apply for its Marine Advisory Board. The board develops information and makes recommendations to ensure the city's marine environment remains well-maintained, safe, healthy, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Board members will advise on programs, regulations, and other actions affecting the local marine ecosystem, playing a vital role in preserving Deerfield Beach's natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

To be eligible, applicants must reside in Deerfield Beach or have a principal place of business within the city. An interest and experience in marine environments are also required.

The board consists of five members, with one representative from each of the city's five districts, plus one at-large member. Five alternate members also serve, with one from each district and one at-large.
