The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier will implement updated rates and program schedules beginning Friday, Feb. 23, 2026. The changes aim to offer varied options for pier users.

Sightseeing access to the 976-foot pier costs $2. Deerfield Beach residents, veterans, active military personnel and first responders receive free sightseeing admission with valid identification. Fishing access costs $4, with veterans and active military personnel admitted free.

Angler parking in the pier lot costs $10 for five hours, subject to availability and bait shop hours. A rod rental package costs $20 and includes a rod, bait and five hours of parking if available. A $25 cash-only refundable deposit is required for rod rentals, which are available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and must remain on the pier. Rod rentals are unavailable when the bait shop is closed.

Monthly, six-month and annual passes for sightseeing and fishing are also available with resident and non-resident rates.

The pier's community programs include the International Fishing Pier Walking Club, offering free morning walks for seniors 50 and older Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Participants must register and check in daily at the bait shop.

The "You, Me, and the Sea" arts and crafts program for parents and children aged 2-6 meets the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5 per child.

Gro Yoga offers a monthly beach yoga class approximately 100 feet north of the pier. Sessions cost $10 per participant, with times adjusted seasonally.
