Fort Lauderdale Courthouse Wings Close Due to Water, AC Damage

The North and East Wings of the Fort Lauderdale courthouse complex closed May 30 due to water damage and air conditioning failures, Chief Judge Carol-Lisa Phillips announced. The West Wing remains open.
Residents can access court services at regional courthouses in Hollywood, Plantation, and Deerfield Beach. The City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County are working to repair the damage.
