4th of July Celebration Celebrate 250 years of freedom with a festive Fourth of July full of music, fun, and fireworks! Date: Saturday, July 4 | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PMLocation: Main Beach Area | 149 SE 21st Ave.Admission: FREE Firework at 9:00 PM Celebrate Independence Day at Deerfield Beach’s annual 4th of July Celebration as we proudly commemorate the 250th Anniversary of America. This special milestone celebration features family-friendly fun, live entertainment, food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display by the ocean at 9:00 PM. Bring your friends, family, chairs, and blankets and enjoy a festive beachside atmosphere as we come together to celebrate the red, white, and blue. The West Deerfield Community Center is a newly renovated facility located across from the Powerline Road entrance of Quiet Water’s Park. With a flex space, a large kitchen, a basketball half-court, and a computer lab this facility is home to a variety of community programs in addition to our school break camps for middle schoolers. Please note there is limited parking on-site. Visitors may not use or block access to the adjacent fire department parking lot or water tower. *This facility is not available for rentals. "The City of Deerfield Beach Teen Center welcomes parents and caregivers to attend fun and interactive activities throughout the year. In the past we invited organizations like Living Skills in the Schools (LSIS) by the CRC Foundation. They presented on topics like mental health and substance abuse prevention. We also had local artist Mrs. Gamperl lead an exciting art class using the Art4Healing Curriculum. For this season, please review the details below: Fall 2026 Friday, September 4th from 6:00pm-7:00pm More Than Sad (parent workshop) (60-90 minutes) This presentation teaches parents how to recognize signs of depression and other mental health problems; initiate a conversation about mental health with their child; and get help. This program focuses on parents and guardians of teen youth. Friday, September 11th from 3:30pm-4:30pm It's Real: Talk Saves Lives (teen workshop) (45-60 minutes) AFSP's flagship suicide prevention education program that covers the scope of this leading cause of death, what the research has found to be the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and the strategies that prevent it. The presentation covers such topics as: 1. What is mental health? How is it similar to, or different from, physical health? 2. How to notice signs of someone needing help. 3. Tips and strategies for having a caring conversation with someone you might be worried about. 4. Methods of Self-care for mind, body, soul, and surroundings 5. Examples of trustworthy resources 6. Checks will only be accepted for payment 5 weeks prior to the rental date. Other forms of payment include credit cards, cash, and money orders. Alcoholic beverages and/or gambling in any form are not allowed on City property. Only approved bounce house vendors are allowed at city parks."
