"The Center at Journey's Way is in the heart of Roxborough. In 2009, the Center moved from the historic Langhurst Mansion on Ridge Avenue to 403 Rector Street, a repurposed church building, located on the corner of Rector and Pechin Streets. The spacious multipurpose community center offers a wide range of resources and programs for active adults 55+.

Welcome to The Center at Journey's Way. We invite you to get involved wherever you are on your journey. Through participating in our full range of activities and programs, members and friends get valuable information, find challenging volunteer positions, and access services all designed for older adults. Reunite with an old friend, form new relationships, learn new things, or create a work of art! Whatever you decide to do at The Center, we want you to live life to the fullest.
The Center at Journey's Way received recognition as a Center of excellence among the nation's best. Through our various classes, programs, and services, you can strengthen your body, stretch your mind, and delight your spirit. Journey's Way can keep you connected to the world around you, enrich your life, and the lives of those you touch.
Come visit us anytime on weekdays between 9am and 4pm. The Center at Journey's Way is located at 403 Rector Street at the corner of Pechin Street in Roxborough. Come by for lunch in our comfortable café style dining room, enjoy a fitness program in our grand room, or choose a class from a range of art and educational activities. Penn Charter Celebrates Color Day with Family Rivalry and Community Spirit
"This year’s Color Day competition brought crowds of parents, family members and alumni to enjoy the friendly rivalry between the Blue and the Yellow teams. The Penn Charter Family Association provided the volunteers and the treats, from burgers to popcorn to ice cream, donuts, hot dogs and tomato pie."
