Crestview, FL – The Crestview Police Department is pleased to announce the return of its annual "Cops and Bobbers" event. This popular community initiative is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Crestview, located at 1400 South Ferdon Boulevard. The event is scheduled to run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. "Cops and Bobbers" is a free event designed to provide a fun and engaging environment for local youth to interact with Crestview police officers in a non-enforcement setting. The primary goal is to build positive relationships and trust between the community and its law enforcement officers. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including fishing in the church's pond, engaging in games, and enjoying a complimentary lunch. This event is open to all children and their families. The Crestview Police Department encourages all interested individuals to attend and take advantage of this unique opportunity for community engagement and recreation. "We are excited to host "Cops and Bobbers" again this year," said a spokesperson for the Crestview Police Department. "It's a wonderful chance for our officers to connect with the younger generation in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere." For more information, please contact the Crestview Police Department.
