Chattanooga State Opens New Dayton Campus in 2025
Staff Writer
June 12, 2026
Chattanooga State Community College broke ground Oct. 3 on a new campus in Dayton, bringing associate degree and workforce training programs to Rhea County without requiring students to travel to Chattanooga.
The facility will open in 2025 with modern classrooms and technology resources for traditional students and working adults seeking career advancement, college officials said. Mayor Hurley Marsh attended the ceremony alongside community leaders and college administrators.
The project stems from a partnership between the Tennessee Board of Regents and the City of Dayton. Residents can find enrollment information at www.chattanoogastate.edu.
