Miamisburg Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center Opens 2027

Miamisburg will not open its new Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center for public swimming this summer. Construction crews aim to finish the facility between early and mid-September.

Workers have installed the slide tower and waterslides, laid tile in the lap pool, and completed concrete, pathway and landscaping work. The recreation pool and surrounding amenities remain under construction.

Ryan Davis, Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Director, said the facility will serve residents and visitors for years to come. "We are eager to welcome everyone to the completed facility later this year, as well as for a full swimming season next year," Davis said.

Before opening, staff must complete hiring and training, safety inspections, water chemistry balancing, and operational system testing.

City officials plan to announce opportunities for residents to tour the facility and view construction progress before the official opening.
