St. Bonaventure Davie: First Holy Communion Prep for All

Davie residents can prepare to receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion through St. Bonaventure Church and School. The Eucharist, the reception of Jesus in the form of bread and wine, is central to Catholic faith.

Children and teenagers typically complete a two-year Religious Education program, usually during first and second grades, culminating in First Holy Communion celebrated in the spring of the second year.
