Aventura's 30th Founders Day: A Wonderland Celebration Nov 8

Aventura will celebrate its 30th anniversary of incorporation with its annual Founders Day event. This year's celebration, themed “Aventura in Wonderland,” takes place Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Gulfstream Park.

The city plans a family-friendly experience inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” Attendees can expect stilt walkers, jugglers, costumed characters, interactive stations, a magic show, themed photo opportunities and art activities. Several food trucks will also be on-site.

Advance registration is required for all attendees, including infants and children. Reserve spots online at cityofaventura.com/ors. Each household account may reserve up to two tickets. Registration opens Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at 10 a.m. and closes Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Wristbands, required for entry, must be picked up at the Community Recreation Center, 3375 NE 188th St. Pickup times are Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additional pickup times are Monday, Nov. 3, through Friday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Free parking is available at Gulfstream Park, north of the event site. The event entrance is northbound on Biscayne Boulevard.
