Fort Lauderdale United FC and Susan G. Komen have formed a community partnership to increase breast cancer awareness and support for survivors and their families in South Florida. The collaboration aims to provide local families with essential information and resources for life-saving interventions.
The partnership, announced Sept. 25, 2026, will expand outreach and education throughout Broward County. Both organizations will use the soccer club's platform to promote early detection and Susan G. Komen's support services.
A special event, the “More Than Pink!” game, is planned during the upcoming soccer season to raise funds and educate fans about breast cancer prevention, screening, and support.
“We are honored to partner with Susan G. Komen,” a Fort Lauderdale United FC representative said. “This partnership aligns with our commitment to serving the South Florida community beyond the soccer field. We believe in the power of collective action to raise awareness and provide meaningful support to those impacted by breast cancer.”
