Dania Building Dept. Closes for ProjectDox Upgrade

Dania's Building Department temporarily closed to the public from Thursday, Sept. 10, through Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, for a scheduled upgrade of its Electronic Plan Review (EPR) system, ProjectDox, to version 9.5. The upgrade aimed to enhance system reliability and support.

During the closure, normal department operations and public access were suspended. The EPR application was unavailable throughout this period, with the interruption anticipated to last approximately three days within the closure dates. Residents and contractors were advised to log out of ProjectDox no later than 12 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 10, to prevent data loss.

The department expects to resume normal operations and public access on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. The city thanked the public for its patience during the upgrade, which is intended to improve electronic plan review services.
