Street Closures Scheduled for N. Green Street and E. Main Street

Danville residents should prepare for upcoming street closures on N. Green Street and E. Main Street, impacting local traffic over the next two weeks.

Beginning on or after April 29, N. Green Street will be closed between Smith Road and Hornaday Road. This closure is anticipated to last for approximately two weeks, affecting commuters who regularly use this stretch of road.

Additionally, on May 1, E. Main Street will experience a temporary closure. The section of E. Main Street between Faulkner Drive and Eastern Avenue, through the heart of downtown Danville, will be closed to accommodate the T.E.A.M. Brownsburg 5K event. Drivers should plan alternate routes for that day.

These closures are expected to cause some traffic adjustments for Danville residents. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and allow for extra travel time during these periods.
