City of Cynthiana announces curbside leaf collection dates

The City of Cynthiana will provide curbside leaf collection for residents this fall and early winter. The service aims to help homeowners manage yard waste as the seasons change.

Collection is scheduled to begin on November 6th and will conclude on December 15th. Residents are asked to prepare their leaves for pickup by raking them to the curb.

City officials emphasize the importance of careful placement of leaves to ensure efficient collection and prevent potential issues. Residents should avoid raking leaves into ditches and storm drains. This measure helps maintain proper drainage and prevents blockages that could lead to localized flooding.

The annual leaf collection service is a key component of the city's fall cleanup efforts, providing a convenient option for disposing of fallen leaves.

Residents with questions about the leaf collection process or specific guidelines are encouraged to contact the relevant city department.
