Custer County Public Notices **Notice of Public Hearing - Custer County Zoning Regulations** A public hearing will be held on proposed amendments to the Custer County Zoning Regulations. The hearing will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Custer County Courthouse, Room 201. All interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide input. **Road Closure Advisory - County Road 42** County Road 42 will be closed to through traffic from Monday, October 18, 2023, through Friday, October 22, 2023, due to necessary bridge repairs. Detour signs will be posted. Local access will be maintained where possible. Please plan for alternate routes. **Custer County Sheriff's Office - Community Meeting** The Custer County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a community meeting to discuss public safety initiatives and address resident concerns. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the Custer County Community Center. Representatives from the Sheriff's Office will be present to answer questions. **Custer County Library - Fall Reading Program Announcement** The Custer County Library is excited to announce its annual Fall Reading Program, "Adventure Awaits!" The program will run from October 15, 2023, to November 15, 2023. Sign-ups are open now at the library. Participants can win prizes for reading goals achieved. All ages are welcome. **Custer County Commissioners Regular Meeting Agenda** The Custer County Commissioners will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 10, 2023, at 9:00 AM in the Custer County Courthouse, Room 101. The agenda includes discussions on budget allocations, new county projects, and public comment. The full agenda will be posted on the county website by November 5, 2023. **Custer County Planning Commission Public Notice** A public notice is hereby given that the Custer County Planning Commission will consider a variance request for property located at 1500 Elm Street, parcel ID 123-456-789. The request will be heard at the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, November 1, 2023, at 5:00 PM in the Custer County Courthouse, Room 201. Details of the variance request are available at the County Planning Department. **Custer County Animal Shelter - Adoption Event** The Custer County Animal Shelter will be holding a special adoption event this Saturday, October 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the shelter located at 555 Oak Avenue. Come meet adoptable dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. Adoption fees will be reduced during the event.
