The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY has issued a Special Weather Statement regarding this event.

East-northeast winds are expected to gust up to 30-40 mph as the remnants of Hurricane Isaias move into the region. The strongest winds are anticipated from late morning through the afternoon, coinciding with the arrival of initial rain bands. Winds are expected to lighten once rainfall becomes steady.

These gusty winds could blow around unsecured outdoor objects and decor. Residents are advised to take immediate action to secure any loose items around their homes and businesses. The Special Weather Statement is effective from 12:00 AM EDT on Saturday, October 10th, and is expected to expire by 11:00 AM EDT on the same day.
