Road Department Equipment Operator I Full-Time Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Valid Class A CDL with 2 years experience. Must be insurable. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to operate heavy equipment to include but not limited to: Bulldozers, Motor Graders, Excavators, Back Hoes, Front End Loaders, Gradalls, Track Hoes, Rock Trucks, etc. Must have mechanical abilities. Must be able to use various types of hand tools associated with road construction and maintenance. Must be willing to work with other individuals in the accomplishment of work tasks. Must pass a drug screening prior to employment. Must complete a satisfactory background check. All applicants are required to attend a mandatory safety training.
