Residents in parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are advised to seek immediate shelter due to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by the National Weather Service in San Diego.
The warning is in effect until 2:30 PM PDT today, October 10. At 2:01 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Yucaipa, moving north at 50 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts. A 65 mph gust was reported near Eden at 1:50 PM PDT.
Impacts include potential damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Affected locations include Moreno Valley, Redlands, Yucaipa, Forest Falls, Highland, Colton, San Jacinto, Beaumont, Banning, and surrounding areas.
