**Special Weather Statement issued September 19 at 6:35PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL**

At 635 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Lockhart, or 9 miles northwest of Florala, moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Andalusia, Florala, River Falls, Red Level, Laurel Hill, Lockhart, and Heath.
