SLP Pathway Webinar for Coral Gables Residents

Coral Gables residents interested in a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist learned about a specialized program during an Oct. 13 webinar. The SLP Preparatory Pathway Webinar, which began at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, detailed how the pathway helps students complete prerequisite coursework. Participants learned how the program allows students to fulfill required leveling courses, secure early admission into the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program, and potentially receive tuition credit toward their graduate degree.

Faculty and staff involved in the pathway presented an overview of the MS-SLP program, highlighting clinical learning experiences and the diverse career opportunities available in speech-language pathology. The session also included a question-and-answer period.

The webinar informed prospective students about the steps involved in becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist through this preparatory route. Information covered the graduate program's structure and the practical, hands-on clinical training students can expect.
