Baptist Hospital Gala Aims to Fund Surgical Robotics in Plant City

South Florida Baptist Hospital will host its 30th Annual Diamonds & Denim Gala on Thursday evening, September 24, 2026. Enhanced Healthcare, LLC presents the event, which will be held at the Florida Strawberry Festival Grimes Family Agricultural Center in Plant City.

The gala aims to fund the hospital's surgical robotics program. Robotic surgery offers patients enhanced precision, smaller incisions, faster recovery times, and improved outcomes.

Last year's gala raised $169,000 for the hospital's new Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and its Labor & Delivery department. Since its beginning, the Diamonds & Denim event has contributed more than $2.4 million to the hospital.

Attendees can expect a catered dinner with food stations, live music, and silent and live auctions. Brown's Jewelers donated a diamond ring for a chance to win.

Sponsorships range from Pearl at $350 to Diamond at $5,000, with additional options available. Individual tickets cost $150, and advance reservations are required. The South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation relies on philanthropy to provide advanced healthcare.
