Tanner Simkins Joins University of Miami Faculty

Tanner Simkins joined the faculty at the University of Miami School of Education & Human Development. He brings over 15 years of experience from the sports and entertainment industry.

Simkins previously advised athletes, brands and properties on deals exceeding $100 million. He returns to his alma mater, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and sports administration.

He holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and is completing his PhD at Florida Atlantic University. His research examines strategy, ethics and disruptive innovation in sports and entertainment.
