Coral Gables, FL – The Scarsini family has made a significant leadership gift to Gulliver Preparatory School, securing naming rights for the Scarsini Family Lecture Hall within the new Arts + Innovation Center. This contribution, part of Gulliver's 'The Next 100: The Centennial Campaign,' reflects the family's appreciation for their children's experiences and their dedication to the school's future in Miami-Dade County.
Maria and Alex Scarsini, parents of Primary School students Alexey and Cristina, expressed their satisfaction with the school. "Alexey and Cristina go to school each day with excitement and come home with huge smiles," the Scarsinis said. They noted the school's emphasis on community, innovation, excellence, and character, observing their children's academic progress and growth in independence and confidence.
The Arts + Innovation Center, which began construction this summer, is a key element of Gulliver's new STEAM Complex. The 58,000-square-foot facility will house studios, classrooms, exhibition spaces, and creative areas designed for collaboration and innovation, integrating visual and performing arts, technology, and design.
The Scarsinis emphasized the importance of the arts in developing imagination, discipline, and independent thinking. "We hope the Arts + Innovation Center becomes a place where students feel empowered to create, collaborate, and push boundaries," they stated. Their gift supports the campaign's Next-Level Teaching & Learning and Thriving Students initiatives.
Gulliver's Centennial Campaign aims to enhance its programs for future generations. Individuals interested in contributing to the campaign can contact Shivani Joshi, Chief Advancement Officer, at [email protected].
