Coral Gables residents are invited to support the TGPS Annual Fund, an initiative aiming to raise over $100,000 for educational technology upgrades, playground equipment replacement and teacher professional development. The fund, a long-standing tradition at TGPS for over 60 years, seeks 100% community participation to support student learning and growth.

The TGPS Annual Fund provides essential resources and opportunities for students, mirroring the city’s decades of growth. This year’s focus addresses immediate needs in school facilities and staff. Updating educational technology will equip students with modern learning tools. Replacing aging playground equipment will create a safer, more engaging outdoor environment. Professional development resources will empower teachers to deliver high-quality education.

Fundraising efforts are vital to TGPS's mission. Beyond the Annual Fund, the Parent Teacher Group (PTG) organizes school-wide events throughout the year, including the Fall Bake Sale, Be My Guest Experiences, and a Silent Auction in March. Funds raised by the PTG are split evenly between TGPS projects and the Annual Fund.

TGPS also supports community outreach through standalone fundraisers. The Scholastic Book Fair contributes 25% of its proceeds to TGPS for promoting literacy. The St. Jude Trike-a-Thon donates 100% of its funds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Residents interested in contributing to the TGPS Annual Fund can donate year-round.
