Kuhn's Charges Upgraded to Felonies, Seeks Dismissal
LONG PRAIRIE – Charges against Father Aaron Kuhn, who previously served as pastor for several area churches, were recently upgraded to felonies, according to Todd County District Court documents. Kuhn now faces more serious legal proceedings.
Kuhn's past assignments included St. John the Baptist in Bluffton, St. Ann in Wadena, St. Joseph in Bertha, St. Hubert in Blue Grass, Assumption of Our Lady in Menahga, St. Michael in Motley, and Sacred Heart in Staples. These communities span a significant portion of Todd County and surrounding areas, and many local residents may recognize his name from his time serving these parishes.
Authorities initially charged Kuhn with stalking on March 11, 2026. The alleged stalking incidents occurred between September 2019 and October 2022. Specific details regarding the nature of these alleged stalking incidents remain unclear at this time.
The upgrade of these charges to felonies indicates a more severe legal classification, carrying potentially greater penalties if convicted. Further information regarding the court proceedings and any motions for dismissal will be reported as it becomes available.
