NHTI Inducts Five Students Into Phi Theta Kappa
NHTI–Concord's Community College inducted five students into its Alpha Upsilon Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society on April 16. The induction ceremony also marked the chapter's 35th anniversary.
The inductees are Mohammed Amedyaz, a Business Administration student; Chrystal Bills, studying Architectural Engineering; Sarah D'Agostino, an Education major; Jonah Pinard, pursuing Criminal Justice; and Kyle Venegas, enrolled in General Studies. Chapter co-advisors Trisha Dionne and Dr. Rebecca Adey-Merrithew presided over the candle-lighting ceremony.
NHTI President Dr. Patrick Tompkins congratulated the inductees and highlighted the college's commitment to recognizing academic excellence and developing student leaders.
Phi Theta Kappa serves as the official honor society for two-year colleges and has more than 4.4 million members across nearly 1,250 chapters in 11 countries.
