NHTI Paramedics Honored at NH State Awards Ceremony
Seven members of NHTI-Concord's Paramedic Emergency Medicine program received recognition at the 32nd Annual NH Fire and EMS Services Committee of Merit awards ceremony.
Keith Wilding, program coordinator, won EMS Educator of the Year. The award ceremony also honored graduates Markie Boyce (2018) and Eric Wells (2016) with the Pamela Mitchell/Richard Connolly Memorial EMS Achievement Award.
Four program members earned EMS Unit Citations for emergency response calls: lab instructor Zack McComb (2018 graduate) for a motor vehicle accident; preceptor Nick Corigliano (2023 graduate) for a cardiac arrest response; current student Jessica Lewis for a technical rescue; and Margot Kratzenberg for a technical rescue.
Governor Kelly Ayotte spoke at the ceremony, which featured a performance by Professional Firefighters of NH Pipes & Drums. The Paramedic Emergency Medicine program trains first responders through classroom instruction and field experience with active emergency services personnel.
