NHTI Free Tuition Scholarship for Concord High Grads
NHTI-Concord's Community College will cover tuition for two courses this fall for 2026 graduates of Concord High School, Merrimack Valley High School, and Second Start Alternative High School through a new "Take Two" scholarship program.
Graduates must enroll in one of NHTI's 70-plus academic programs and register by August 15. The scholarship covers fall 2026 courses and requires a free application available at nhti.edu/take-two-scholarship or by calling (603) 230-4027.
Students can use the scholarship to earn a short-term certificate or begin work toward a bachelor's degree. NHTI President Patrick Tompkins said the program reflects the college's commitment to Concord. "As Concord's community college, NHTI has a special role in advancing the wellbeing of this city," he said.
Dr. Randy Wormald, superintendent of SAU #46, said the scholarship removes a significant barrier for graduates. "NHTI has long been a wonderful partner to Merrimack Valley, and this gift is partnership at its best," he said.
The scholarship addresses funding gaps left by federal financial aid. Tim Allison, Chief Advancement Officer and Executive Director of The Foundation for NH Community Colleges, said the program helps students begin college with reduced financial burden.
