**Special Weather Statement issued September 17 at 3:16PM MDT by NWS Pocatello ID**

At 316 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Atomic City to 13 miles northwest of Springfield to 11 miles northwest of Aberdeen. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Rockford and Taber.
