At 6:10 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Colton, approximately 9 miles northeast of Sidney, moving southeast at 20 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and half-dollar-sized hail. These conditions can cause hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
