Moody Family Donates $10,000 for K-9 Ballistic Vests

Nancy Moody donated $10,000 to the Levy County Sheriff's Office this week to purchase ballistic vests for the agency's K-9 unit. The gift honors her late husband, Bob Moody, a longtime radio manager and personality in Levy County.

Sheriff Bobby McCallum and Mickey Moore, director of membership and donor relations for the Florida Sheriff's Association, presented Mrs. Moody with a lifetime membership to the association. Retired Levy County Sheriff Horace Moody, Mrs. Moody's brother-in-law, attended the presentation.
