Kingman County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Road and Bridge Mechanic. This position performs skilled mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of county-owned equipment, including heavy construction equipment, trucks, automobiles, mowers, and other equipment. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Two years of progressively responsible experience in mechanical repair work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Kansas Class B CDL or ability to obtain one within six months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in heavy construction equipment.
