Only applicants who meet the qualifications and are selected for an interview will be contacted. Important Information for Applicants: Many of the full-time positions require a Class B driver’s license or permit. You can get a permit by studying the commercial drivers license handbook and passing the written DMV test. You must provide proof of education, such as a degree or transcript. You must provide proof of past employment if a previous employer is no longer in business. Examples include tax forms, W-2s, or letters from former employers. Open Positions Current Full-time, Part-time/Contract, Fire Department or Police Department openings are posted online or in the Human Resources Department at City Hall. Submitting Applications The application for Police Department employees is different from the standard City application (PDF). Regardless of the position, however, you will need to save your completed application to your computer, cloud, or another active device. You can then sign and email the application as an attachment PDF file to email to Human Resources Applications. You also have the option of printing the completed form and mailing it through the U.S. Postal Service or hand-delivering it to the Human Resources Department.
