Drivers in northeast Nebraska should exercise extreme caution this morning due to a Dense Fog Advisory. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Omaha/Valley, NE, has issued the advisory, effective immediately until 12:00 PM CDT today, September 30.
Visibility is currently less than one mile in dense fog across the affected areas. These include Knox, Cedar, Thurston, Antelope, Pierce, Wayne, Boone, Madison, Stanton, Cuming, Platte, and Colfax counties. The NWS warns that low visibility can make driving conditions hazardous.
