At 740 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles east of Columbus, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Columbus, Landrum, Inman, Campobello, Lake Bowen, Tryon, Mill Spring, Green Creek, Fingerville, and Gowensville.
