Titusville Teen's Stepbrother Indicted in Cruise Murder
A federal grand jury has indicted 16-year-old Timothy Hudson as an adult for first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse in the death of his 18-year-old stepsister Anna Kepner aboard a Carnival cruise ship. The Titusville high school senior was found strangled and hidden under a bed during a family vacation in November 2025. Prosecutors allege the deliberate attack occurred in international waters en route to Miami.
Florida Bill Expands 'Gang Member' Label After Just 2 Sightings
A Florida Senate bill slashing the threshold to label someone a gang member from multiple to just two associations has cleared its final committee. Sponsored by Ft. Myers Republican Sen. Jonathan Martin, SB 536 adds online posts and spouse testimony to the mix. If passed, it takes effect Oct. 1 amid rising gang concerns statewide.

Defuniak Springs Man Indicted For Attempted Enticement of a Minor
