ST. PETERSBURG, FL (May 29, 2024) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has received multiple American Heart Association awards for its commitment to guideline adherence and quality improvement to improve cardiovascular health.
Bayfront Health St. Petersburg received the following achievement awards:

Each year, the American Heart Association helps hospitals use the Get With The Guidelines programs to implement up-to-date, research-based guidelines to speed recovery and reduce death for heart failure and stroke patients. Hospitals earning Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus awards have reached an aggressive goal of treating patients to core standard levels of care as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for two consecutive calendar years.
