Ransom Everglades Wins Naples Academic Quiz Tournament
Ransom Everglades' academic teams earned top honors at the Mason Classical Academy Fall Invitational in Naples. The first-place team included Jack Gonzalez, Jaz Puri, Julian Jelke, and Aziz Apara.

Coconut Grove's Ransom Everglades academic team won first place at the Mason Classical Academy Fall Invitational in Naples on Sept. 26. The victory recognized the students' dedication and intellectual skill.
The winning team included Jack Gonzalez and Jaz Puri, both class of 2028, and Julian Jelke and Aziz Apara, both class of 2029. Competing in a National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT) event, they demonstrated strong teamwork and broad knowledge.
A second Ransom Everglades team secured third place at the invitational. This team featured Hank Derick and Noah Veras, both class of 2028, Raif London, class of 2029, and Rohan Harihara, class of 2030. Derick finished second in points per tossup questions heard.
Faculty members Sara Forbes and Joseph Marin guided and supported both teams.
