Space Coast Jr/Sr High SAC Seeks Community Input

Space Coast Jr/Sr High School seeks engaged parents, community members, and business partners to join its School Advisory Council (SAC). The SAC shapes the school's future by developing and evaluating improvement strategies, assisting with the school improvement plan, and advising the principal on the annual budget.

The council includes representatives from parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, and business/community members. Members collaborate to enhance educational outcomes.

The council has vacant positions for a business partner and a student representative. These roles bring diverse perspectives to the council's decisions.

The SAC typically meets monthly. The council will establish its meeting schedule for the current academic year.

Principal Dr. Lori Damy and Assistant Principal Amy Miller lead the SAC. Current members include teachers Michael Cornett, Heather Hieber, and Kristin Gaouette, and parents Tricia Boden and Lisa Johnson.
